Ended the season as the team’s backup QB.
Vanderbilt redshirt freshman quarterback Allan Walters has reportedly entered the transfer portal, a day after Deuce Wallace announced that he was leaving the team. Earlier, Mo Hasan announced his intent to transfer. And, of course, Riley Neal is out of eligibility.
In his first action with Vanderbilt, Walters completed two of nine passes for 36 yards and threw an interception. He came on late in relief of Wallace in the Florida game, and also saw brief appearances against Kentucky and East Tennessee State.
So, if you’re keeping score at home, Vanderbilt used four quarterbacks in 2019 and none of them will return in 2020.
