Good morning.

The Vanderbilt soccer team is 4-0 on the season and has yet to concede a goal, a streak they look to continue tonight at 7:30 PM CT at the Vanderbilt Soccer/Lacrosse Complex. The Commodores open the Music City Invitational by hosting Colgate. They’ll then complete it against Marshall on Sunday at 2:30 PM CT.

VUCommodores.com has an interest piece up on new kick returner/wide receiver Justice Shelton-Mosley, the Harvard graduate transfer who’s enrolled at Owen.

Derek Mason says there is no quarterback controversy. i think part of the reason for this is that given the injuries on the offensive line and facing Georgia, just about any quarterback would have struggled under the circumstances. A better performance by Riley Neal on Saturday in West Lafayette will pretty much end whatever fan grumbling there is on the subject.

Purdue’s SB Nation blog Hammer and Rails questioned, well, me about Saturday’s game.

The Knoxville News-Sentinel ranks the SEC’s head coaches from best dressed to worst dressed. Number one? Derek Mason.

The Tennessean writes that Vanderbilt and Purdue are familiar with each other in spite of not playing since World War II.

Vanderbilt has a rowing team?
