A couple of weeks ago, I said that the place where the SEC sends games to die is not the 11 AM time slot, but the 3 PM SEC Network slot opposite the CBS game.
On a day when there are six conference games and Vanderbilt is playing UNLV, where do you think the Vanderbilt game ended up? That’s right: 3 PM on the SEC Network.

UNLV is 1-3 on the season. After opening the season with a win over FCS Southern Utah, the Rebels have lost to Arkansas State, Northwestern, and Wyoming. The closest of those three games was a 30-14 loss to Northwestern; on Saturday, Wyoming crushed the Rebels by a 53-17 score.
In other words, this is a game that Vanderbilt should win.
