Vanderbilt soccer fell on Sunday to Florida, 1-0, with the Gators scoring their lone goal in the 38th minute and Vanderbilt failing to score in spite of getting 12 shots off. The Commodores are now 8-3 overall and 1-2 in the SEC. Georgia is up next on Friday.

Vanderbilt cross country took sixth place at the Buckeye Preview in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday.

Freshman William Moll carded a first-round 68 to lead the Vanderbilt men’s golf team at the Nike Collegiate Invitational. Vanderbilt is in seventh place after the first round, 11 shots behind leader Oklahoma. The Commodores tee off the second round at 10 AM on Monday.
