The SEC announced on Monday that Vanderbilt’s fifth game of the season will be a night game, following three consecutive early kickoffs. Vanderbilt will play the Ole Miss Rebels at 6:30 PM CT on October 5, and the game will be televised on the SEC Network.
Ole Miss is currently 2-2 on the season and 1-0 in the SEC, though the two wins were over an obviously terrible Arkansas team and an FCS outfit from Southeastern Louisiana. Their two losses came against unbeaten teams: 15-10 at Memphis in the season opener, and 28-20 to Cal on Saturday. They are likely to be 2-3 and 1-1 in the SEC when they play Vanderbilt, what with them playing Alabama on Saturday.
