Former Vanderbilt center Damian Jones will have a new home in 2019-20.

Jones, like Festus Ezeli and Will Perdue, got rings for being associated with an all-time great, but relatively little playing time. With DeMarcus Cousins out of Golden State, Jones might have figured into the Warriors’ future plans, but the Warriors evidently didn’t see it that way.
So, Damian now goes to the Atlanta Hawks, a team that won 29 games last season. That’s a worse situation in terms of the team itself, but a much better one in terms of Damian’s playing time.
