Good morning.
We are 66 days away from Vanderbilt football’s season opener against Georgia, and there’s actually a #66 on the roster in the person of defensive lineman Cameron Robinson. The 6’0”, 305-pound junior from Mobile has not played in his two years in the program.
Last night, Vanderbilt baseball forced Game 3 in the finals of the College World Series with a 4-1 win over Michigan. The offense pushed across a run in the fifth, two more in the sixth, and Philip Clarke added an insurance run with his ninth homer of the year, and Kumar Rocker and Tyler Brown did the rest.
That sets up tonight’s game for all the marbles at 6:00 PM CT on ESPN. Mason Hickman will presumably get the ball tonight, but it’s all hands on deck with it being the last game of the season no matter what.
The other news from Tuesday: Vanderbilt football picked up a three-star athlete from New Orleans.

That puts Vanderbilt’s 2020 class at eleven commits.
Apologies for the abbreviated Anchor Drop this morning, but I have to get to work at my real job. Have fun, expect to win.
