Good morning.
We’re now 67 days away from Vanderbilt football’s season opener against Georgia. There is no #67 on the roster.
Vanderbilt dropped Game 1 of the College World Series finals by a 7-4 score. Drake Fellows got off to a rough start and while he eventually got settled in, it wasn’t until he had spotted Michigan a 4-0 lead. Meanwhile, the offense managed just seven hits.
That leaves Vanderbilt needing to win each of the next two games. Luckily for Vanderbilt, Kumar Rocker starts tonight, and we all know what happened the last time Kumar Rocker took the mound with Vanderbilt facing elimination. Tonight’s game will be televised on ESPN at 6:00 PM CT.
In other news, Joe Rexrode wants a flood of angry Mississippi State fans in his Twitter mentions.
Bowling’s Kristin Quah, a biomedical and electrical engineering major with a 3.97 GPA, was named a second-team Academic All-American. What on earth do you have to do to make the first team?
And in news that’s not technically related to athletics, Towers are coming down.
