Vanderbilt’s recent stream of commitments in the 2020 class continued on Tuesday morning with the addition of Jason Brooks, an offensive line prospect from Dobie High School in Houston.
After a good talk with @CoachDerekMason and my parents I am glad to say that I’m 100% committed to Vanderbilt University!!#AnchorDown⚓️⬇️ pic.twitter.com/5d1FhhkynI

Brooks is listed at 6’4” and 290 pounds, and probably projects to play the guard spot at Vanderbilt. The 247 Sports composite ranks him as the #1035 prospect in the Class of 2020, #147 in Texas, and the #61 guard prospect nationally. (Rivals hasn’t assigned a rating to him yet.) Brooks is Vanderbilt’s third commitment from the state of Texas in this class and seventh overall.
Here is Brooks’s junior year highlight tape.
