Good morning.

We are 92 days away from Vanderbilt football’s season opener against Georgia, which we found out yesterday will be at 6:30 PM CT on the SEC Network. Vanderbilt’s Week 2 game at Purdue will be at 11:00 AM CT on the Big Ten Network. There’s no #92 on the roster at present — last year’s #92, Jonah Buchanan, has switched to the offensive line and now wears #61.

Vanderbilt baseball opens NCAA Tournament play tonight as the host of the Nashville Regional at Hawkins Field, where they’ll face the Ohio State Buckeyes at 6:00 PM CT on ESPN2. The first game of the day, between Indiana State and McNeese, will start at 12:00 PM CT on ESPN3.

Over at the Tennessean, Adam Sparks has an excellent, heart-wrenching story about what Vanderbilt closer Tyler Brown has gone through.

Alabama long snapper Scott Meyer is transferring to Vanderbilt.

D1Baseball has a breakdown of the Nashville Regional. Here’s an Indiana State perspective from the Terre Haute Tribune-Star.

Women’s golf assistant coach Emilie Meason was recognized as the Division Golf Pride Assistant Coach of the Year.

Here’s a breakdown of Vanderbilt soccer’s midfield and forwards for next season. Soccer season actually starts before football season.
