With Arkansas’ 6-2 loss, Vanderbilt did not need to do anything Friday to clinch the SEC regular season crown. Still, it’s more fun when you win it outright—and a hell of a lot more fun when you pound your opponent into a jelly.
The long and the short of it is this: We stomped Big Blue 12-4 and are officially SEC Champions.

See you at 1pm when Pat “Mad Dog” Raby and the boys face Kentucky’s toughest test: Jr. LHP Zack “Homer Thompson of Terror Lake” Thompson.
Don’t worry. Though he is a lefty, he throws hard.
