Consider this Jerry Stackhouse’s first recruiting win.
Four-star forward Dylan Disu met with Jerry Stackhouse & has decided to stick with Vanderbilt, he tells @247Sports. Disu originally signed with the old staff.

In the wake of a 9-23 season and Bryce Drew’s termination, Vanderbilt has been hemorrhaging players. Joe Toye is graduating. Darius Garland and Simi Shittu have declared for the NBA Draft, and Yanni Wetzell and Matt Ryan have entered the transfer portal. Austin Crowley asked for and was granted his release when Drew was fired, and he committed to Ole Miss over the weekend.
That left Vanderbilt with eight scholarship players for next season, but at least one of Bryce Drew’s three-man recruiting class is staying with the new staff, and Dylan Disu is probably the best player of the three. Still, Jerry Stackhouse has five scholarships to fill for next season (though it’s possible that one of Shittu, Wetzell, and Ryan could still opt to return.)
