Women’s basketball closes regular season against Florida

Stephanie White’s third year at Vanderbilt has been a long one, but the team has a chance to end on a positive note before heading into 2019-20. After beating Tennessee on Thursday night — the program’s first-ever win in Knoxville — Vanderbilt can end the regular season on a two-game winning streak.

Florida is the opponent for Senior Day. Like Vanderbilt, Florida is 2-13 in the SEC; the Gators have lost five in a row and are 6-22 overall on the season. The winner of this game will avoid a last-place finish in the conference.

Bree Horrocks, who’s averaging 1.9 ppg and 1.5 rpg, is the team’s lone senior and will be honored during today’s Senior Day festivities. Today’s game will air on the SEC Network at 2:00 PM CT.
