Vanderbilt to play doubleheader against Dayton on Saturday

After an 11-3 win over Dayton on Friday to open the three-game series with the Flyers, Vanderbilt will close out the weekend series today. With a cold front expected to come through Nashville on Sunday, Sunday’s game has been moved to today; the Commodores and Flyers will play the first game starting at 1:00 PM CT. The second game will follow shortly after, though the stadium will be cleared and anyone with tickets to both games will have to be readmitted.

That means the second game will run up against the basketball game against Texas A&M (which tips off at 5:00 PM CT); of course, we’ll have dueling game threads on Anchor of Gold. Patrick Raby will start one game; the other starter has not been announced. Both games will be televised on the SEC Network+.
