With spring practice beginning shortly, it’s probably a good idea to have all of your assistant coaching positions filled. Vanderbilt got some bad news on that front on Tuesday, as two positions on staff are now open.
Source: The Bengals are hiring Vanderbilt ass't Nick Eason to be defensive line coach. Eason was Titans DL coach from 2014-17, played 10 NFL seasons.

You might be wondering who Nick Eason is. Eason was hired to replace C.J. Ah You as defensive line coach a couple of weeks ago; it turns out that the former Titans DL coach will not even make it to spring practice before jumping back to the NFL.
That’s not good. This seems worse.
Chris Marve leaving Vandy for Mississippi State (per sources) is something #ItJustMeansMore https://t.co/w3hLjMIpwt

That would be linebackers coach and Vanderbilt lifer Chris Marve, who played at Vanderbilt and started his coaching career as a grad assistant here, taking the same job at Mississippi State.
Read into this what you want. But having to replace two assistants right before spring practice seems suboptimal.
