After a rain-shortened series against Pepperdine over the weekend, Vanderbilt is back in action against Southeast Missouri State today, followed by tomorrow’s game against Austin Peay. The RedHawks swept Western Michigan to open the season, but dropped two of three against Western Illinois over the weekend in spite of outscoring the Leathernecks 18-16 over three games, and yes I just wrote that as an excuse to remind you that Western Illinois’s mascot is the Leathernecks.
