Vanderbilt needed to sign some offensive linemen in the 2020 class and got four. One of them is Ben Cox, a 6’6”, 280-pound prospect from Radford, Virginia.

I didn’t have a ton of thoughts on Cox and then I saw his film. Offensive lineman films in which they utterly destroy overmatched competition (and yes, that competition consists of a bunch of dudes that probably weigh about 150 pounds that Cox simply bulldozes) are always fun, and I highly recommend that you watch this, not because it has any bearing on what he will do in the SEC (150-pound defenders being few and far between in that league), but because this site is nothing if not fun.

Anyway, Cox was also named the Three Rivers District Offensive Player of the Year for a 9-3 Radford team, and I don’t know what that means but I like it.

Anchor Down, Ben.
