Vanderbilt has had something of a pipeline with south Florida prep powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas, with six players from the school on the 2019 roster, and Griffin Lampton is the latest player to come to the West End from Aquinas.

Lampton — called a weakside defensive end by 247 and an athlete by Rivals, but probably an outside linebacker in Derek Mason’s 3-4 defense — had 45 total tackles and two sacks in his senior season after transferring back from Palm Beach Central, where he played as a junior. Lampton also played baseball in high school.

Anchor Down, Griffin.
