We are on fire! After merely being .500 last week, the staff went 24-12 this week! No individual was below .500 either. The LSU-Ole Miss game was a push though, so we only had 6 games of record. VU '04 was a perfect 6-0 to extend his overall lead. Shawn went 5-1 but is still well back on the season. Import's 4-2 effort helped him try to stay within striking distance. Tom, CDA, and I were 3-3. Dropping 3 games to VU '04 was not something I could afford to do. The other 2, especially Tom, are well off the pace.

Last week, all of us correctly foresaw Alabama smashing Mississippi State. Only Import was crazy enough to think Missouri could keep Florida with one score. Tom and CDA had too much faith in the Game Penises against aTm. Kentucky-Vanderbilt, Georgia-Auburn, and Oklahoma-Baylor were all even splits. Of note, I missed all 3.

Bluntly, this week sucks. There are only 3 games involving SEC teams not playing an FCS opponent. Texas A&M are 13-point underdogs Between the Hedges. Arkansas are getting 43 points and the hook in Death Valley. The Vawls are somehow 4-point underdogs in CoMo. And in a game heavily dampened by Penn State losing to Minnesota (who promptly lost to Iowa), the Nittany Lions are 3-score underdogs at Ohio State. Fun times!

The Rules

1. All SEC games against FBS competition will be picked. FCS games are excluded since lines are often not available until very late in the week or even the morning of the game.
2. One other game, typically a matchup of Top 25 teams, will be part of the picks.
3. The picks will be made AGAINST THE SPREAD. Too many games are easy to pick heads up. Also, this will serve as a PSA for why you should not get into sports gambling if Tennessee (or wherever you reside) makes it legal.
4. The lines will be taken from ESPN Oddshark (because ESPN was not updating by Monday morning) sometime Monday, so they may not match what is listed at the time this article is published.
