The Vanderbilt Commodores return to action in the Vanderbilt Hetwetter Invitational tonight, two nights after dispatching Austin Peay by a score of 90-72. Tonight, the opponent is the South Carolina State Bulldogs. I don’t have a ton to say about the Bulldogs other than that they’re your standard-grade MEAC team; that is to say, not good. KenPom predicts a 79-63 Commodore win and I see no reason to argue with that, except that Liberty beat them by 26.

Also at Memorial Gym tonight, the women’s team hosts Furman, so we’ll have this thread up early in case anybody’s watching that.
