In seven-plus quarters since Vanderbilt QB Riley Neal was lost to an injury after throwing a touchdown pass on the opening drive at South Carolina on November 2, Vanderbilt’s offense has scored a grand total of zero points with Deuce Wallace and Allan Walters under center.
So, good news from Derek Mason at the press conference today: Neal will return to action this Saturday with Kentucky coming to town.

Neal hasn’t been great in his time at Vanderbilt, but the offensive performance last weekend suggests that the alternatives (aside from Mo Hasan) are actually worse.
