Letters ... we get letters ... we get sacks and sacks of letters...

The Football Mail Bag is taking the week off. However, basketball season officially starts on November 6, and there’s even an exhibition game (not televised) against Clark Atlanta on Friday.

Therefore, we are taking questions for the Vanderbilt Basketball Mail Bag, for the first time. So, send us your questions, and they will be answered — maybe just by me (the basketball guy), maybe others if they want to chime in.

Here are the rules of the mail bag:

1. This is a basketball mail bag, so limit your questions to Vanderbilt basketball, SEC basketball, college basketball, and possibly the occasional NBA or general basketball question will be answered.
2. Send your questions to tcstephensonlaw@gmail.com by Tuesday. You may also post your questions here in the comments. Just post them in the body of the comment, with the subject line “Question for the mail bag.”
3. I will take the best questions, and possibly narrow down those that deal with the same topic. Then, all Anchor of Gold community writers will get the opportunity to chime in. The answers will be published on Thursday or Friday.
4. All Anchor of Gold community guidelines apply to the questions.

I don’t know if this will be a weekly thing, particularly as long as football season is going on, but depending on interest we’ll do this a few times.
