Last night was NBA Opening Night. (It was also Game 1 of the World Series, which I do not want to talk about.) Three former Vanderbilt players are on NBA opening day rosters: Darius Garland with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Damian Jones with the Atlanta Hawks, and Luke Kornet with the Chicago Bulls.

Men’s golf finished in third place at the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational, after shooting a 291 on the final day.

VandySports has two new podcasts, with guests George Plaster and Norman Jordan. The Tennessean also discusses Derek Mason’s postgame comments, among other things.
