Good morning.

Everyone’s favorite Vanderbilt sports team is officially back in action. No, not the VandyBoys — I am speaking, of course, of the Vanderbilt women’s bowling team, which opens the 2019-20 season ranked #1 in the nation. The bowling team will compete in the Allstate Sugar Bowl Collegiate Bowling Invitational in New Orleans this weekend to open the season. Friday’s play opens at 9:30 AM CT and can be streamed on the team’s YouTube channel.

Vanderbilt soccer hosts LSU for Senior Night at 7:00 PM CT at the Vanderbilt Soccer/Lacrosse Complex; that match can be streamed on the SEC Network+. The team’s three seniors will be honored prior to the game.

Women’s tennis won both of its matches yesterday at the ITA Regionals in Murfreesboro.

The Hustler previewed the football game with Missouri’s Maneater, which is actually the name of Missouri’s student newspaper.

We missed it yesterday, but Rock M Nation and And the Valley Shook both previewed Vanderbilt’s basketball team. Spoiler: both of them picked Vanderbilt to finish 14th. (Also, in case you’re wondering, I’m going to start my SEC basketball previews on Sunday. You’re welcome.
