Josh Crawford Also Transferring

A second Commodore announced their decision to transfer today.

Running back Josh Crawford has spent his entire Vanderbilt career struggling to break into the rotation. With 18 carries as a freshman, 14 as a sophomore, and 19 as a junior after redshirting between his sophomore and junior seasons, Crawford’s role was always just on the periphery. Recent events that seem to indicate Ke’Shawn Vaughn will return along with Jamauri Wakefield and flashes from Ja’Veon Marlow who took advantage of the new limited play redshirt rules meant that Crawford’s last season of eligibility would likely not involve a bigger role. The graduate transfer rule will allow Crawford to play immediately.

We hope that Josh can find the right combination of academics and athletic opportunity to enjoy his final year of college football and advance his future plans.
