Good morning.
With the deadline to declare for the 2019 NFL Draft coming up on Monday, the Vanderbilt Commodores got some good news on Thursday with RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn announcing that he would return for his senior season. And now, we await Jared Pinkney, who hinted on Twitter yesterday that he’ll be announcing his decision today.
Pinkney, like Vaughn, would probably be drafted somewhere around the fourth round if he left this year. The hangup for Pinkney might be that this year’s tight end class is pretty stacked, which could make his position more precarious. Either way, we should find out something today.
Other Vanderbilt News
ICYMI: Andy Ludwig is out as Vanderbilt’s offensive coordinator, taking the same position at Utah.
Women’s basketball dropped to 0-3 in the SEC, and 5-11 overall, with a 50-43 loss to Texas A&M.
Adam Sparks catches up with former Vanderbilt basketball player and Kentucky season ticket holder, Adolph “Chip” Rupp III. I mean, we can forgive him considering his name is literally on Kentucky’s arena.
