Anchor Drop, September 7, 2018: Soccer Keeps Winning

Good morning.

Vanderbilt soccer hasn’t lost since its season opener against Florida State, extending its winning streak to six with a 2-0 win over Western Kentucky on Thursday night. Madison Elwell scored both goals for the Commodores, who are now 6-1 on the season.

Cross country will compete in the SEC Preview today in Auburn, which as the name implies is being held on the same course as next month’s SEC Championship.

Former Vanderbilt basketball star Jeff Roberson signed a training camp deal with the Boston Celtics. We’d expect Roberson to end up with the Celtics’ G-League affiliate (wherever it is), but you never know.
