At 5’11” and 175 pounds, Mahoney is rated as a three-star recruit and the #15 prospect in South Carolina by Rivals. The 247 Sports composite rating also rates him as a three-star, the #131 cornerback prospect in the Class of 2019, and the #21 prospect in South Carolina.
