Good morning.
The Vanderbilt men’s tennis team will open its season today with the Commodore Scramble at the Currey Tennis Center, running through Sunday. (Consider this your open thread if you’re watching it!)
We’ll have some more content coming today for Vanderbilt’s matchup with Notre Dame tomorrow. In the meantime, go check out our new friends at One Foot Down, SB Nation’s Notre Dame blog (you’ve probably seen a few of their commenters in our comments section!) They have a very Jay Cutler-themed preview up.

Off the West End
Well, Hurricane Florence is now ashore, and lots of college football this weekend has been cancelled as a result (including the game involving Vanderbilt’s next opponent, South Carolina.)
Former Vanderbilt OL Will Holden got signed to the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad.
Davidson won a football game 91-61 against the Guilford College Quakers, who as you might remember are a member in good standing of the ODAC. There’s your bonus ODAC content of the day.
Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals are 2-0.
