The men’s tennis team opens its season today. And there was much rejoicing.

The Vanderbilt men’s tennis team will open its season today with the Commodore Scramble at the Currey Tennis Center, running through Sunday. (Consider this your open thread if you’re watching it!)

We’ll have some more content coming today for Vanderbilt’s matchup with Notre Dame tomorrow. Well, Hurricane Florence is now ashore, and lots of college football this weekend has been cancelled as a result (including the game involving Vanderbilt’s next opponent, South Carolina.)

Former Vanderbilt OL Will Holden got signed to the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad.

Davidson won a football game 91-61 against the Guilford College Quakers, who as you might remember are a member in good standing of the ODAC. There’s your bonus ODAC content of the day.

Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals are 2-0.
