We are 10 days away from Vanderbilt’s season opener against Middle Tennessee. #10 for the Commodores is sophomore defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo. The younger Odeyingbo played extensively as a true freshman and has great size at 6’6” and 265 pounds.
Vanderbilt’s football practices are now closed, and that means the practice reports from the website are a bit less substantive. After all, what’s the point of a closed practice if you’re going to report on it?
For whatever reason this is a slow news day. (At least as far as Vanderbilt athletics go. It was NOT a slow news day for things that will not be posted in the Anchor Drop.) We’ll just leave it at this before the storm hits and the season starts. Enjoy the quiet while it lasts.
