It’s been a while since we’ve turned a thread over to the Anchor of Gold commenters. Vanderbilt plays its first televised sporting event of the 2018-19 athletic season today at noon CT, though, so this seems like as good a time as any.
That’s right: your Vanderbilt Commodores women’s soccer team takes on the Jacksonville Dolphins on ESPN+, a $4.99 a month subscription service that exists to deliver you things like a women’s soccer game between Vanderbilt and Jacksonville. Never has there been a better use of five dollars a month than this.
In addition to that, there’s a full slate of baseball and an NFL preseason game tonight. Oh yeah, and Brandt Snedeker goes for his first PGA Tour win since 2016 at the Wyndham Championship.
