We’re 44 days away from Vanderbilt’s season opener against Middle Tennessee State. #44 on the roster is true freshman tight end Gavin Schoenwald. Schoenwald won three state championships at nearby Brentwood Academy in both football and basketball, and he was a high school teammate of fellow freshmen Cam Johnson and Darius Garland. Adam Sparks asked Jeremy Pruitt a question about Tennessee’s rivalry with Vanderbilt, and some people weren’t happy about that.
