The Vanderbilt football team is going to Nashville Shores today.

Good morning.

Today marks 50 days until Vanderbilt’s season opener against Middle Tennessee. #50 on the roster is Sean McMoore, who wore #53 last year. McMoore, who formerly went by Sean Auwae or Sean Auwae-McMoore, was rated as a four-star recruit by at least one service coming out of high school in 2016, but hasn’t gotten on the field much — redshirting in 2016 and getting limited action last year as Bruno Reagan’s backup at center. With top center prospect Dan Dawkins on campus now, McMoore needs to step it up to move up the depth chart.

Today is the fourth annual Dores at the Shores, where Vanderbilt football players will be at the Nashville Shores Resort on Percy Priest Lake signing 2018 posters. Admission is $19.99.

Vanderbilt bowling picked up NTCA All-Academic honors after the women earned a 3.234 composite GPA for the academic year. They also won a national championship, which is more than Tennessee can say for the 2017-18 academic year.

Zac Ellis podcasted with Khari Blasingame. I am debating whether Anchor of Gold would have a podcast, but this would be a disaster so probably not.

David Price won his tenth game of the season. Also, Nashville native Mookie Betts hit his 23rd homer of the season, and he’s also batting .352 on the season, which is ridiculous.

Some former Louisville basketball players are suing the NCAA over their vacated national championship. Yeah, good luck with that one.
