Good morning.

The first round of the NFL Draft came and went last night without a single Vanderbilt player getting picked. That was expected, but we do think at least one player (probably Oren Burks) will be drafted either today or tomorrow, and we’re on the lookout for additional picks. The second and third rounds will be drafted tonight.

Vanderbilt baseball will host South Carolina for a three-game series starting tonight at Hawkins Field. Tonight’s first pitch will be at 6:30 PM CT, and all three games will be broadcast on the SEC Network+.

Men’s golf slipped a bit on Thursday, posting a 3-over par 283 and falling into second place, two shots behind LSU. Of course, the Commodores’ place in the eight-team match play tournament is all but assured going into the final round of stroke play today.

Men’s tennis advanced to the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament with a 4-0 sweep of LSU on Thursday. The Commodores will face 3-seed Florida at noon CT on Friday.
