Good morning.

Vanderbilt’s baseball team actually won a midweek game! The Commodores beat Western Kentucky 3-2 at Hawkins Field on Tuesday night behind home runs from Pat DeMarco and Connor Kaiser. That improves their overall record on the season to 20-13.

Women’s golf won the Brickyard Collegiate in Macon, Georgia, with a three-day total of 869, ten strokes ahead of second-place Old Dominion. Freshman Morgan Baxendale took home individual honors in the tournament.

Off the West End

Some new information dropped in the FBI’s investigation into college basketball corruption. Specifically, two new schools — both of which have apparel contracts with Adidas — have been named in the investigation, Kansas and NC State. And I swear this is a scene from Blue Chips.

Kansas is one of Romeo Langford’s three finalists, along with Vanderbilt and Indiana. Langford already previously eliminated Louisville due to the FBI investigation and now Kansas is tied up in it as well. And Indiana is an Adidas school.

Don’t forget, too, that Simi Shittu had a final three of Arizona, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt, and then he eliminated Arizona after that school’s name came up in the FBI investigation.

The NBA is down to the final day of the regular season.

Colin Kaepernick is being deposed. I am here for the NFL to get hammered over blatant collusion.

After 10 years in the G-League, Andre Ingram finally made his NBA debut last night — and scored 19 points. Cool story.
