Good morning.

Vanderbilt starting pitcher Drake Fellows surrendered two runs in the first inning, but the Commodores rallied, with Julian Infante connecting for a tying home run in the second inning. In the third, Pat DeMarco hit a two-run homer to give Vanderbilt a 4-2 lead that they would not relinquish. The Commodores improved to 15-7 on the season and 4-0 in the SEC. They play LSU again tonight at 7:30 PM CT on ESPNU.

The women’s tennis team swept Tennessee in four matches. Beating Tennessee is always good and I do not care what sport it is.

Men’s tennis picked up its first SEC loss in a 4-2 decision at Mississippi State.

Women’s golf is in fifth place after the first day at the Clemson Invitational, nine shots behind leader Furman.

Women’s bowling beat Louisiana Tech and Sam Houston State at the first day of the Southland Bowling Championships.

The football team is, of course, holding its Spring Showcase today at Vanderbilt Stadium. The showcase begins at 3:00 PM CT; SEC Network coverage commences at 4:00.

Defensive coordinator Jason Tarver is living in Derek Mason’s garage, apparently.
