Sunday Afternoon Open Thread: Women’s Basketball at Florida, Baseball Rubber Match vs. Duke

Here’s your open thread for this afternoon’s action.

The women’s basketball team is having a long season (6-21, 2-11 SEC), and today at noon CT they head down to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators — who have a matching 2-11 SEC record. That game will be carried on the SEC Network.

The baseball team dropped a game yesterday against the Duke Blue Devils to fall to 1-1 on the young season. Today, they’ll play the rubber match against the Blue Devils. Junior righthander Chandler Day (7-2, 3.78 ERA in 2017) is expected to take the mound for the Commodores; he’ll be opposed by Duke lefthander Mitch Stallings (4-3, 4.50 ERA in 2017.) That game will take place at 1:00 PM CT.
