It appears that Vanderbilt has found its bowl game.
One. More. Game.

The Vanderbilt Commodores will meet the Baylor Bears in the Texas Bowl at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, on December 27 at 8:00 PM CT. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Baylor defeated Texas Tech last weekend to finish the season 6-6. The Bears, like Vanderbilt, are playing in a bowl game for the first time since 2016. They’re in their second season under Matt Rhule.
Baylor and Vanderbilt haven’t met on the gridiron since 1954, one of just two all-time matchups between the two; Baylor won both meetings, 47-6 in Waco in 1953 and 25-19 in Nashville in 1954. However, Matt Rhule and Derek Mason have coached against each other before — in Derek Mason’s first game as head coach at Vanderbilt.
