JR Tran-Reno Signs Letter of Intent

Vanderbilt gets a talented running back from Alabama.

JR Tran-Reno is a 6’1”, 205-pound running back from Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham, Alabama.

He is ranked as the #1726 prospect nationally, the #143 athlete, and the #64 prospect in Alabama.

He committed to Vanderbilt on June 26, 2018. He also had offers from Louisville, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss, Tulane, and UAB.

His primary recruiter at Vanderbilt was Andy Ludwig.
