The Vanderbilt Commodores got their first game post-Darius Garland out of the way with a 120-85 win over Savannah State on Tuesday night. This one figures to be a bit tougher.

NC State picked up its first loss of the season on Tuesday night, losing 79-75 at Wisconsin, but the Wolfpack are coming off a NCAA Tournament bid and are currently ranked #32 in KenPom. KenPom’s algorithm predicts a 83-79 NC State win, but his numbers aren’t accounting for the absence of Darius Garland; Vegas has NC State as a six-point favorite.

This is the third of four games today at the Hoophall Miami Invitational, so the start time of 4:00 PM CT is tentative; we won’t be shocked if the start time is delayed due to the prior two games (St. John’s vs. Georgia Tech and Texas Tech vs. Memphis.)
