Well this is certainly suboptimal.

Vanderbilt will begin life without Darius Garland on Tuesday night, as the star freshman was ruled out for the season earlier today. The Commodores welcome Savannah State to Memorial Gym on Tuesday night.

The good news? Savannah State is #340 in KenPom. They lost to Liberty on Sunday by a score of 82-56. If there’s a team I want to face when I’m adjusting to life without my star player, this is it.
