Good morning.
The Vanderbilt soccer team opens the SEC Tournament today. The top-seeded Commodores (15-2-1, 8-1-1) will face 8-seed Florida at approximately 5:00 PM CT on the SEC Network. Vanderbilt had its 16-match unbeaten streak snapped in the regular season finale against Ole Miss last Thursday.
Senior left tackle Justin Skule was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week.
The Last Word on College Football interviewed senior safety LaDarius Wiley.
Tweet of the Day
like any great Bills quarterback, Derek Anderson threw more touchdown passes to Patriot players than Tom Brady

The second Cleveland sports team in as many days fired its head coach, which means Jimmy Haslam gets to conduct another coaching search. Maybe it will be as hilarious as Tennessee’s most recent coaching search, which he was also heavily involved in.
And speaking of Tennessee, USC just stripped Tee Martin of his playcalling duties.
Over at NBC Sports, Dave Ommen has Vanderbilt in the first four out of his preseason bracket.
