Good morning.

The Vanderbilt soccer team beat Kentucky 4-1 on Sunday, which, combined with South Carolina’s 2-1 loss to LSU, made Vanderbilt your 2018 SEC regular season champions. Grace Jackson, Kaylann Boyd, and Haley Hopkins scored goals for Vanderbilt (the fourth goal was an own goal by Kentucky.) The win improves Vanderbilt’s record to 15-1-1 on the season and 8-0-1 in the SEC. They’ll close out the regular season at Ole Miss on Thursday.

Men’s golf shot 12-under on the first day of the Tavistock College Invitational in Windermere, Florida, paced by Will Gordon’s 64. The Commodores hold an eight-shot lead.

The swim team picked up a commitment from Chantal Jordan of North Gwinnett (Georgia) on Sunday.

Off the West End

Well, the Titans lost 20-19 after a failed two-point conversion.

On the SEC shooty hoops beat, Mizzou’s Jontay Porter is out for the season after tearing his ACL during a scrimmage. Apparently the scrimmages are secret unless somebody gets hurt in one?

Oh yeah, and Vanderbilt’s a 2.5-point underdog at Arkansas on Saturday. Last Saturday’s game against Kentucky, by the way, was only the second time Vanderbilt has covered the spread in an SEC game since the start of the 2017 season.
