With the NL West title on the line, the Los Angeles Dodgers went to former Vanderbilt pitcher Walker Buehler, who shut down the Colorado Rockies for 6 2⁄3 innings and also added an RBI single to send the Dodgers into the NLDS. Vanderbilt men’s golf sits in a tie for fifth place at the Nike Collegiate in Fort Worth after two rounds. The tournament concludes on Tuesday. Vanderbilt’s Mason Greenberg is in a tie for the individual lead at the end of two rounds.

Former Vanderbilt DE Jonathan Wynn signed a practice squad deal with the Minnesota Vikings on Monday.

Former Alabama coach Mike DuBose accidentally shot himself, which I am sure nobody will make any jokes about.
