Boston Red Sox at Houston Astros Game 5.
Boston leads the series 3-1.
Though Kemp went yard (hugs), Boston hung on for an 8-6 victory to push the series to the brink.
Tonight, Boston goes to David Price, on three days rest, for his elusive first playoff victory as a starter. Of course, on three days rest, I don’t expect Price to go a full 5 IP... so... he will likely have to wait.
He will face off against Justin Verlander, who has gotten his groove back in the past two years. One can only assume Kate Upton is his Taye Diggs. The logic of this statement is bulletproof.
Will the Astros start Kemp in LF again? Will he hug the RF pole again (foul once, fair once this series)?
*Update: Tony Kemp is in the lineup, batting 7th and playing LF.
Either way, Vanderbilt wins.
Tune in and find out.
