If there's a gripe I have with the Southeastern Conference basketball schedule -- well, aside from sticking us with Tennessee, Kentucky, and Florida as our three permanent rivals, it's that the SEC does crap like (a) having both Vanderbilt-Tennessee matchups take place on Tuesdays and (b) having them take place two weeks apart in January.
Like, we couldn't get one of these games in February or on the last weekend of the regular season or something? We had to have both of these on Tuesday nights in January?
It feels like we just played these guys because we just played these guys two weeks ago. In that one, Vanderbilt blew a lead (because fucking of course we did) and lost the game 92-84. Grant Williams scored 37 points for Tennessee, which mostly just tells you how awesome our interior defense is.
Anyway, game time is 6:00 PM CT and the game will be televised on the SEC Network and the WatchESPN app. Joe Fisher's radio call is on the Vanderbilt IMG Sports Network. I would prefer not to get swept by these guys so can we get a win tonight? Pretty please?
