With the early signing period coming in just a couple of months, Bryce Drew and staff are looking to close on a few prospects.

Vanderbilt has three scholarships available and with Matthew Fisher-Davis, Riley LaChance, and Jeff Roberson all moving on after this year, the Commodores will likely look to add some scoring punch.

Ignas Brazdeikis, a 6’8”, 220-pound swingman from Orangeville Prep in Canada, has been a longtime target and on Thursday, he announced three official visits via Twitter. Brazdeikis will visit Michigan this weekend, followed by a visit to Vanderbilt on September 15 and Florida on September 29.

Brazdeikis is rated as a four-star recruit by the 247 Sports composite, and he’s the #66 prospect in the Class of 2018. 247’s own in-house ratings are a bit higher, as they have him as the #45 prospect in the class.

Vanderbilt is still heavily in pursuit of Darius Garland, who would be the crown jewel of the 2018 class. But Brazdeikis would be a strong addition on his own merits; in most recruiting classes under Kevin Stallings, he’d probably be the top recruit.
