The Vanderbilt Commodores will host the Georgia Bulldogs at 11 AM CT on October 7, per the SEC’s just-released Week 6 schedule.
The Bulldogs are currently 4-0 and ranked 7th in the AP poll following a 31-3 win over Mississippi State on Saturday. Georgia travels to Tennessee on Saturday and could be 5-0 by the time they come to Nashville.
Georgia holds a 55-20-2 edge in the all-time series, including a 45-6-1 record in the series since 1962. One of those losses, though, came last year when Vanderbilt beat the Bulldogs 17-16 in Athens.
ESPN has exercised the six-day option for this game and the Ole Miss-Auburn game in the same time slot. One game will be televised on the SEC Network while the other will be on either ESPN or ESPN2.
