The SEC announced game times and television network assignments for Week 4 via Twitter on Monday, and the Vanderbilt Commodores’ home game against the Alabama Crimson Tide will be televised on CBS with kickoff set for 2:30 PM CT.
It’s been two years since Vanderbilt’s last game on CBS, which was the 2015 game against Georgia. Vanderbilt is off to a 2-0 start this season and could be 3-0 by the time the country’s top-ranked team comes to town.
Alabama is 2-0 on the season with wins over Florida State and Fresno State. This will be the first game between the two teams since 2011 and the first game in Nashville since 2007. Vanderbilt has not beaten Alabama on the field since 1984, though a 17-6 Alabama win in 1993 was later forfeited.
