2018 DB Maxwell Worship Is Vanderbilt’s 13th Commitment

Worship comes from the same school as incoming freshmen Randall Haynie and James Bostic.

The Vanderbilt Commodores added to a growing 2018 recruiting class on Thursday morning, as Fort Lauderdale (FL) Cardinal Gibbons DB Maxwell Worship announced his commitment via Twitter.

If Cardinal Gibbons sounds familiar, it’s the same school that produced current freshman DB Randall Haynie and WR James Bostic. Worship is the third commitment that the Commodores have landed from the Sunshine State in the 2018 class, joining ATH Miles Jones and K Javan Rice. He’s also the fourth defensive back in what’s becoming a solid group of recruits at the back end of the defense.

Worship is 6’2” and 185 pounds, and he’s rated as a three-star recruit and the #47 safety prospect in the Class of 2018 by Rivals while the 247 Sports composite ranks him as the #71 safety and #134 prospect in the state of Florida.

And, of course, the nicknames write themselves here.

Here is Worship’s junior year highlight tape:
